Does a party invite need to match the theme of the party?

We’re throwing my son a party for his birthday in a few weeks and I’m creating an invite. I found a photo of him I like and made it into an invite. In the photo he’s wearing a green baby yoda shirt. In order for it to blend in well I made the background green.

Showed it to my husband and he said I should take a photo of my son in a sonic shirt since were throwing him a sonic the hedgehog themed party and that it looks weird since we’re not throwing a baby yoda party.

I personally don’t think it matters but are invites supposed to match the theme? (Pls keep in mind we’re not talking weddings or anything formal. Just a casual 4th bday party).
