4 yr old will not wipe her poop

I am at my wits end. Almost 4.5. We have always helped her with wiping and for a while we were teaching her how to do it herself and that was going fine. Then she decided it was too hard to do herself and so I didn’t push it I kept helping and I know she would try it herself if we weren’t there even if it wasn’t perfect. She has now for about a month stopped wiping her poop and stopped calling us for help. She will just quietly go to the bathroom and then pull her pants back on and go back to playing. She has a habit of not flushing and I’ll find out she pooped and then realize she didn’t wipe. She is getting rashes, she smells if she doesn’t have a bath every night because of this and she’s messing up some of her underwear. I have had endless talks about this with her and she still is refusing to wipe her poop or call us. I don’t know what the hell the problem is but I am getting so frustrated. I am tempted to lock her out of the bathroom so that I can make sure she is doing things properly but I really hate to do that. Has anyone been through this? I think she just feels like it’s hard and so then she doesn’t want to wait she wants to go back to playing. I don’t know. I’m at my end with it. I will add that I have told her I will continue to help her and that it’s fine that she doesn’t want to do it herself but she has to call me to wipe she cannot get up without wiping but she’s just not doing it

EDIT thank you all for the input! She has been fully potty trained for a year n a half with barely any hiccups so this all of a sudden not wanting to call me to wipe her is driving me crazy but I guess I just need to reframe my mind and train her out of this with rewards or whatever else instead of waiting for her to stop this on her own. Definitely won’t lock her out of the bathroom, like I said I didn’t want to anyway I just don’t know what to do with her to keep her clean and stop her from getting an infection or something from not wiping since she’s already getting rashes from it. And we do already use wet wipes! She hates toilet paper for wiping her poop
