Somehow it’s always my fault

My husband always gets mad at me and blames me when our daughter falls or hurts herself somehow. She’s one. Like just now he was on the couch sitting and reading emails (he works from home) and she was by his legs, the laundry was done and it is five steps away so I was walking to change it and she fell and started crying well that’s somehow my fault bc I “ran away” instead of standing there over them making sure nothing happens. How was this my fault?!
