Vback vs another c-section?

Question

I've had one vaginal and one c-section. I'm about to have my 3rd and I don't know if I want to try a vback. I feel like most horror stories I hear are about vaginal deliverys so I'm leaning towards a c-section but I want to hear everyones pros and cons??

I had a vbac with my second and it went wonderfully.  Zero complications.  It for me felt mentally better.  Much more peaceful and natural.  I gave birth and they immediately placed baby on my chest and we relaxed that way for an hour before they ever even touched baby.      I wouldnt have it any other way

My first was a cesarean, second vaginally with a third degree tear. It was an emergency cesarean for fetal distress, but the recovery was smooth all things considered (no hemorrhage, infection, etc.)
I would absolutely VBAC a million times over before I elected a cesarean, especially with other babies at home, even despite the tearing. There are risks, but there are also significant risks to you and to subsequent pregnancies if you elect a cesarean. It's a highly individualized choice, but bear in mind that you will have a very hard time finding a provider if you decide you want to VBAC after two cesareans.

100% vbac! It’s statistically much safer. Plus way better recovery! Had a vbac 16 months after my csection and planning another vbac in May.
