How many children?

Random but how did you know when you were finished having children? Like did you get a feeling? I have two children, one 4 and the other 6 months and i don’t feel finished. Don’t get me wrong I feel so lucky to be blessed with two but I would love a big family. Also does anyone else feel like nobody cares about your second baby like they did you first? I don’t know maybe I’m being extra sensitive😂

I always thought I wanted 2 because I was one of two kids, but I had my first at age 35 and she is just perfect and our family feels complete with the three of us, so we are done.

I thought I was done with three. Waited 6 years and decided to have another one. Now pregnant again and will prob have a couple more after this pregnancy

I've always said I wanted 4 and my husband has always said it's a good start. We just had our 3rd(unplanned) in November and it was an extremely rough pregnancy. My husband said he'd understand if I was done, even though he'd be happy to have more. I've said I want 4 kids for as long as I can remember, so I said I'd think about it, we're taking extra caution to not have any more this year. But as I was packing up my daughter's dresses that don't fit anymore I got kinda sad. We can't guarantee another girl (we have 2 boys and 1 girl) I know I still want at least one more. I think we've agreed that 5 is the max we can afford in the area we live in and that we can realistically have, but we'll see what happens.

Both my husband and I came from families with four kids and knew we didn’t want that many. We wanted our son to have a sibling for that dynamic, but knew two is a good number for us. Plus after this pregnancy I don’t think I want to go through it again.

Wanting more kids doesn’t mean you aren’t thankful for the ones you have. I have 4, and I just can’t picture my child bearing years being over yet.

I just know I am done!!! I can’t see myself with anymore and I would be extremely upset if I found out I was pregnant again 😅

I had two kids 13 months apart and asked my doctor to take my tubes out, but I was told no. I got pregnant again shortly after and my middle and third are a year apart. 
After that, I demanded my tubes be taken out so I had the surgery 3 months postpartum. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
Yes, first pregnancies are always treated differently than subsequent pregnancies.
