Potty Training Questions (boys)

Hello! I’m a FTM and completely clueless on potty training. I don’t even know where to start ha so here is where we’re at. He’ll be 2 in a few weeks and the past week or so he’s been saying “pee” or “poo” after he goes in his diapers, he’ll point to his diaper and say “pee” or “poo” and when I check sure enough he went. Is that a sign I should introduce a potty? Is there an instruction manual 🤣 I don’t want to force it or do it too soon but I also don’t want to miss the signs he’s ready. He also seems to be paying more attention when my husband goes to the bathroom to pee and he’s in there too. I’d appreciate any tips and recommendations!
