Does/Did your partner like going down on you?

My boyfriend and I have been sexually active for about two years, and about half a year back, he’s asked me to let him eat me out. I was hesitant at first but recently (a month or so ago), after having a talking about it outside the bedroom, I finally allowed him to. Now it seems like he wants to eat me out every time we have sex. He says it turns him on and I’ve seen how hard he gets after he eats me out. I was always under the impression that guys don’t like going down on their girlfriends? I’m curious as to what y’all’s experience has been like (with current or even previous partners.)
