Should I break up with my boyfriend of two months

Now hear me out cause I know the title sounds bad but he’s stuck in his old ways he’s 16 and I’m 17 we have different mindsets his mindset all he wants to do is hang out with his boys and smoke weed a few times we got into a argument about him texting me to let me if he’s safe or not cause if he doesn’t I’ll overthink keep in mind he hangs out with his boys everyday after school and on weekends every weekend he texts me everyday 10:30 tells me good morning we talk on the phone 11-2 he leave to go be with his boys at 2:30 I don’t hear from him tell 9:30 or sometimes 10 he got mad at me because I care about his safety when all I asked of him was to text me and tell me if he’s safe or not now fast forward to now we normally gts on the phone we done that in nearly 4 days because his homeboys call and he says he’ll call me back but doesn’t he does it often like today we didn’t gts on the phone tonight either I just feel unappreciated I just feel that I should just move on and give my love to someone whose actually worth loving
