New born baby rules?

Hi ladies, I'm 33 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out some "rules" I should have when baby gets here. My son is almost 4 now and I forgot most of the rules we had when he arrived. I don't think I can have visitors at the hospital due to covid, I'm from Michigan. Which is alright but just seeing what you all had planned when your babies arrived when you got home. I have a few in my head so far I need to write down, just wanna make sure I don't forget anything! 
When my son was born I had a few visitors at the hospital we made them change their shirts and what not especially if they smoked, but when we got home no one came to us we had to drive all to them mostly my fiances side of the family And I really don't plan on doing this with baby #2. It was absolutely stressful on me I breastfeed and had to go in another room to do so. I just don't want to go through that again. I'd rather be at home and have people come to us. 
So when did you have visitors come to your home to see the baby? Did you wait a few weeks or just let it happen right away? What were some rules you all had?

With my first, I had everyone get tdap. Other than that, I had the same rules for both babies. One was before covid, and the other was November. The only real difference was that I didn’t let anyone come to the hospital the second time. My mom came over the day we got home. My in laws came the next day. My rules are simple:
1) absolutely no kissing
2) wash hands 
3) don’t come around if you so much as have a sniffle
4) call or text before coming 
5) don’t stay longer than an hour
6) if I want my baby, I get my baby
7) don’t post pictures of my kids
8) don’t announce my baby’s arrival before I’ve had the chance 
If people expect me to visit them, I nurse my baby wherever I am. I’m not going to hide away somewhere. If you don’t like it, don’t have us over 🤷🏼‍♀️ 
Most rules are common sense. My family is stupid, so they have to be put out there.

Our family is really respectful about not coming anywhere near our house is they don’t feel well.  My last baby was born just prior to covid and my parents still kept away because they weren’t feeling well.  Turned out they both had the flu so I was grateful for that.  Other than that we really haven’t had any issues.  I agree with not having people covered in cigarette smoke holding baby without changing first.

We had so many visitors at the hospital and when we got home with our first it was crazy. With our second it was covid so we only had one set of visitors a day and it was just immediate family (sister, her husband and kids, mom, dad, grandparents) mainly everyone just washed their hands and we asked everyone to only stay 30- 1 hour. With our third due end of June we will probably keep the same rules. No one staying for long periods (except my mom because she’s going to help out with my older toddlers) everyone wash hands and stagger visitors.

I had one visitor (sister in law) on my last day at the hospital. My sister visited me at my house/welcomed me home. I got lucky that my baby came a few weeks early so that both my parents were out of the country when he was born. 
I personally was not interested in seeing anyone after I gave birth. I was tired, everything hurt, and trying to figure out breastfeeding. 
Before I gave birth, I did make sure to send out rules and asked everyone to get their flu shot and TDaP booster. Even without Covid being around, I wouldn’t want someone to give the new baby a cold, you know? Told people no kissing, wash hands, etc. Had people who came in from out of town wear face masks while holding the baby.

I let visitors right away - hospital, home, whatever. I’ve never once had someone come over who was sick. I have had people cancel plans to come over because they felt like they might be getting sick or they were sick. People are generally considerate. I let people hold the baby. Our last was born at the beginning of Covid when masks weren’t a thing so that wasn’t something we ever considered. I don’t make them change clothes. We do ask them to wash their hands or use sanitizer. If a kid wants to hold the baby, they sit. But honestly, I’ve never written rules or really even had to express them because people have always either asked or just known how to properly conduct themselves around babies.

For my first I wasn’t thatttt strict but I kinda wish I was because literally as soon as he was born I had visitors all night and the next day and the day we got home 🥴 but I told them to wash their hands and no kissing whatsoever even my parents.
With this baby I’m not playing, Since my hospital is still on Covid restrictions I won’t have visitors thank god and when we do get home I want everyone who wants to see her get a Covid test first. But I won’t be allowing visitors to see her for a good 2 weeks. I’ve never had 2 kids before and need time to adjust and heal before entertaining guests.

I’m only having immediate family over (his parents and siblings and my parents since they are the ones who live close). Everyone will need to use antibacterial soap when they come in the house and I will be fine with them holding him but request no kissing on the face while he’s so little and still developing his initial immune system. Of course if anyone is sick or they know they’ve been around someone who had a cold or the flu or Covid, I will ask them to wait two weeks (since that’s usually how long it will take for most viruses to have cleared up) before coming over.

I allowed close family (our parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins) and friends right away with my first. Small groups at a time and spaced out. I made sure all grandparents were up to date on TDAP (whooping cough) vaccine. With my second (June 2020 still early covid days) we only allowed grandparents indoors masked, everyone else outdoors only no holding, socially distant. Now with our 3rd due Nov 2022 I’m undecided for now. Grandparents will definitely be allowed, and all of our family is vaccinated so probably in small groups spaced out
