help craddle cap!! my baby is 3 months old and the craddle cap doesnt go away and everytime the flakes fall his hair falls right along with it! any recommendations on what i can use to get rid of it??

Use a significant amount of oil (Olive or Coconut is what we used) and allow it to sit for at least an hour then use the Frida cradle cap comb to comb it out. Then wash hair to get rid of flakes. We used the happy crappy shampoo which is suppose to stop it from coming back. My son is 3 months and we just did this process and his hair looks much better. A few pieces of hair did come out but it was because the cradle cap had matted those pieces of hair. The more oil you use the easier it will come out. Good Luck!!

I have been using hydrocortisone and pure olive oil after gently washing …. Also use a little oil to help loosen up the flakes and lift lightly prior to washing

Massage warm coconut oil onto baby's head. You can use a craddle cap brush for massage. Leave for a bit and then use a craddle cap comb to remove the flakes. Wash and rinse thoroughly. This is what helped us.

My babes ped prescribed fluocinolone 0.01% oil for his cradle cap, which does require a prior authorization, but they should be able to prescribe. Definitely worked wonders!!!

I use a tiny little bit of head and shoulders and I got the fredia baby cradle cap little rubber thing used that worked with all my kids this is kinda like the brush I used hope it can help

I bought these and they worked amazing for my daughter. I gave one to a friend and they also worked for her son. My daughters cradle cap wasn’t horrible but it was enough to want to do something. I saw results within the first bath using them.

Clotrimizol cream. You can get it in the pharmacy section. Its also labeled as athletes foot cream too. My baby has severe cradle cap and we actually had to get an antifungal shampoo to clear it up. The clotrimizol did help though. Scrubbing and picking it only made it worse.

Coconut oil. My baby had it on her forehead coconut oil cleared it up quick.
