Extreme back pain

Has anyone had extreme knack pain after giving birth? I’m 5 days pp and the pain is ridiculous. I did get an epidural but they messed it up so they had to redo it so they poked me about 4 times trying to get it in and then by the time it was in it was time to push. So I essentially went through my whole labor with nothing and am wondering if it could just be soreness from the contractions and pushing? I had an epidural with my first and it worked right away so this is new to me.
