Daycare advice please !

Hi Fellow Moms

My 23 month old started daycare this week and we had to pick him up because he had a fever on day 3. I know this happens but it made me so concerned, he’s been with us or the nanny (who changed careers) his whole life. Now today we got an email about a case of Hand Foot Mouth in his class. I am thinking about putting him somewhere else that has a much smaller class (there are 14 in his current class), but I don’t know if I’m overreacting. How did you all deal and what would you do?

PS his fever is down to just a runny nose and he is almost back to normal
