Inflammation after sex?

My bf and I had sex for the first time in over a month, and I will admit that we were a little more rough than usual lol I didn’t notice any pain while we were at it and I thought I was enthusiastically.. lubricated, but I noticed I felt a little bit sensitive when I cleaned myself up afterwards. However, about an hour or two later, I was taking a shower and noticed the water really stung down there, so I checked it out and realized my inner lips are really swollen and painful to touch, and it still feels pretty painful since I have gotten out of the shower too. I have experienced some tearing before back when we first started having sex (I was a virgin and he is pretty well endowed 👀) but I haven’t experienced it really since then and this doesn’t look like that did then. Does anyone have any experience with this type of thing? I’m assuming it probably has something to do with not having sex for a while and then suddenly having rough sex for 30+ minutes caused some kind of friction irritation or something. 😅 Any idea what it could be? Or what can I do for the pain and how can I prevent it from happening again?
