Bleeding a day after ovulation?

Hey ladies, I was wondering if anyone else has had anything like this situation. I started my period on the 9th of this month, I’m a day past ovulation and last night I started spotting. It was brown at first but now it’s picked up, lots of small blood clots and bright red. It’s filling a pad after a while. I feel really nauseous and have a ton of pelvic pain. I called my OB but got no answers and an appointment at the end of the week. My boyfriend came in me on the 16th. Two days after my period. And I’ve never ever in my life bled in the middle of my cycle. My next period is predicted for the 8th. Normal cycle length 28-34 days. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?
