NICU BABY

Hey mama’s!!

I had my baby on 02/28/22 I was 31 weeks with covid.

It’s been really difficult to enjoy his birth because he was taken away from me when he was born since I tested positive for covid. I had no symptoms and had just take the first dose of Pfizer. I took us a little over a week for me and my partner to finally see him. It’s almost been a month and my baby still in the NICU because he wasn’t stable with his bilirubin and since his been fed by tube for the last 3 weeks he gets tired very easily when being fed by tube. I think I’m starting to stress out about it and also this gas prices aren’t helping since we do live 40 min away from hospital and we visit every day and most of our maternity leave savings are going towards gas/parking.

It’s been a rough couple of weeks and I was wondering if any of y’all been through the same situation or are dealing with the same thing and how are y’all copping?. Did y’all had to also pay for parking or the hospital help out?
