Adjusting to new birth control
So I was taking ortho cyclen birth control for about 2 years (for regulation of my cycle), stopped it in November (honestly forgot to start the next pack, and I had some mental health issues so I kind of left it alone.
The next few months my period was fairly regular on it’s own, which I was not expecting.
Started up again in March, but got started on Yaz, which is 24 active pills instead of the 21 active pills that I was used to before. It was chosen because of the lower progestin hormone levels, which I think was affecting my anxiety previously (and honestly I only was interested in getting restarted because I was also in the beginning of a new relationship and was trying to be proactive with protection).
Anyway, I am on the last day of the 4 inactive pills, and didn’t start bleeding until today, and it is almost nothing. Just curious if anyone else has gone through this when starting on a 24/4 birth control.
