6 weeks pregnant and bleeding. MIL says no ER

My MIL is a nurse and I told her I’m having cramping/bleeding/clotting and she advised me not to go to the ER and just let the MC take it’s natural course because there’s really nothing they can do. She’s extremely conservative about going to the ER but I just feel like this is asinine. I would like it confirmed instead of just wondering what’s happening. Is that weird I want to go to the hospital?? (I know for sure it’s not ectopic atleast because I’ve already had one U/S)
