Pumping while baby is in nicu

I’m not sure if I’m able to pump if my baby has to go in the nicu I’m not planning on him being in there I just wanna think Ahead just in case so I know my options. My son is due in august btw. I would really like to pump and put it into bottles for him, I was just wondering if I’m able to still pump while In the hospital and give it to nurses to feed him my breast milk if he’s in the nicu and then I just bring them breast milk everyday to feed him until he’s home. Now if he’s not in the nicu ( I’m really hoping he doesn’t come early like I said I’m just weighing out everything that could possibly happen) but if he’s not in the nicu then I’ll just pump every 2-3 hrs and put it into a bottle myself and feed him.
