Curious after 6 months
Hey loves! My baby is 18 weeks tomorrow, so that means I’ve been breastfeeding for 18 weeks! I honestly didn’t think I would get this far, but here I am. Anyways, I was wondering how does breastfeeding work when they begin eating solids? I know that you implement with one meal and continue breastfeeding. But what is a sample schedule for breastfeeding & solids? When does baby transition to completely solids and how do moms continue breastfeeding after 9, 12, 15 months etc after baby can just eat solids?
As a side note, I’ve been mostly breastfeeding and baby only gets maybe 2 bottles (4oz - 7oz) just 4 times a week (the days I work, and I only work 4.5 hours per day). I don’t pump at work because it’s such a short shift and I feed baby before I leave and right when I come home. Would this schedule still work when we begin solids?
Also any tips on teething? I recently saw the pediatrician. Baby has been waking up during the night and having a whole meltdown. It usually takes a few minutes to calm him down. The doctor recommended to give him tylenol before bed and I started to, I just feel so bad. I don’t know if it’s a sleep regression or he’s teething? Any tips on that also?
I know it’s a lot, but thank you in advance!
