Bleeding during sex… Can anyone else relate to this?

For a little over two months now, I’ve been bleeding basically every time I have sex with my fiancé. We’ve been together three years and this is the first I’ve ever experienced this with him or anyone in the past. It normally looks like my period and I cramp afterwards, so the first time I assumed AF was coming early. It happened three times with a few days— a week in between so it’d give my cervix a little break. But each and every time, it’ll only occur during intercourse and stop immediately after we’re done. So I called my obgyn back in February about it. The nurse asked me if I’d taken a pregnancy test (it was negative), asked where I was in my cycle, if our sex was rougher than usual, and after not being able to determine what else it could’ve been, she summed it up to it possibly just being postcoital bleeding. She assured me it was no big deal at that time due to that fact postcoital bleeding is normal to happen briefly at some point in a woman’s life. She suggested setting up an appointment if I wanted reassurance, which I never did. So at first, I didn’t question it or think much of it, but considering that it’s been reoccurring this long, I’m debating on getting checked out now. We’ve been TTC our second baby for exactly a year now and I feel like this is a set back.
