Start next BC pack or no?

My fiancé and I are planning to start TTC soon, I’ve been on the placebo week of my last pack of BC this week, but would start a new pack today. The pack I would start today would be the last pack I would officially take, however I’ve been indecisive regarding if I should just not start it at all.

My literal singular reason is that we’re leaving to take my son to Disney world next Saturday the 23rd-28th, and I wouldn’t want to get my period while we’re there because of the heat plus cramps combo not being fun.

So having my period now, is there a chance I could get it again next weekend while we’re on vacation too if I didn’t start the new pack? Help?!?!!
