Late ovulation?

I’m on CD 22. When TTC our 2nd babe, I never ovulated later than CD 12. Given that this was our first cycle off birth control, I kind of assumed I wouldn’t ovulate (but would be thrilled to!).

So, CD 15 I had spotting. That lasted for 2 days, and then stopped. I’ve never had mid cycle spotting either but chalked it up to, “coming off bc, body adjusting”. I was waiting for my next cycle to start in a couple days - as I’m usually a 26 day kind of gal.

Well, I’m CD22 & have got almost a positive opk. Mine only get this dark if I’m about to ovulate, usually they’re only positive for about 4hrs so that might be later tonight. I know it’s not currently positive. I just also know how my OPKs go after 2 years of trying for #2 lol

Idk. I just assumed we were going to have to wait till next month. Has anyone had success with late ovulation? It’s just so much different than my ‘normal’ cycle
