Mother in law and kids

We finally moved out of my in laws place after 5 years. We moved 1 hr and 20 mins away. My husband and his mom never had a good relationship but I still talk to her here and there because she want to check on the kids. She's been bugging me to bring the kids over to them to sleep over but my husband don't understand why they just come over and pick them up. So I have to drop them off and pick them up. Does this sound right? My mother in law misses the kids so much but seems like she's not willing to make the drive to come see them too. She's always telling me to bring them to her. This past weekend I had my side of the family come from out of town and she was bugging me to bring the kids to her but I told her my family Want to see them too. Now she seems upset and said "bring them over or else they gonna forget who grandma and grandpa is". And she also ask my husband why he never call to check on them, and if anything was to happen he wouldn't care. Mind you my husband don't have a good relationship with her, she doesn't see that
