What kind of chores do you have your 9 to 10 year olds doing?

Right now my son mainly picks up his room and takes out the garbage for me when I ask him too

When they were in school, thats about all I had them do because I felt like they had enough on their plate between school and homework. Now we homeschool and we do 'clean up time' where we have a list of light chores that we do together eg vacuum, basic dusting, emptying the dishwasher, wipe down the sofa.

My 10 and 12 year old share the following chores:
-Keep their rooms clean, daily
-Keep their bathroom clean, daily
-Unload the dishwasher, put away clean dishes
-Clean up dog poop
-Fill dog bowls and get them ready for dinner time
-Practice piano 15 minutes
-Unpack backpack and leave homework, notes, etc on the counter for me
-crate the dogs before leaving for school, let dogs out of crates when they get home
-prepare their school lunch for the next day, put it in the fridge. Also, remove from fridge and put in backpack before school
I think that’s all.
