Car seat issue!

Question

Hi! I have a britax (rambler?) infant car seat and I just realized that when I push on the sides of the seat they pop in and out….I do not feel this is safe at all and was wondering if anyone else’s car seat does this? It has never been in an accident and is only two years old.

Confirm that that’s not a normal feature for the car seat. I have a different britax model and it doesn’t do that. But I also have a Diono car seat and the sides come in and out to accommodate kids as they grow and that’s just a normal feature
