Can I test?

We had an accident earlier this month and my period is due tomorrow, but I’m impatient and was curious if I can test or if I should wait it out. I’m trying to not spend money since I already have a test on hand but I don’t want to waste it if a day could give me different results. Normally I get sore boobs, cramps, and I’m moody before my period but I haven’t had anything except for cramps but I’m pretty sure it was because of a stomach bug going around work because they went away right after going to the bathroom. I’m not sure I should read into any symptoms just yet, though.
