This is coming from an unvaxxed severely immunocompromised individual. I cannot be vaccinated. This is life for me.

I wouldn’t even wear a mask indoors. That’s such a small number. You’re probably at a higher risk for contracting a different virus at this point.

If 80% of people were testing positive, and my child was not vaccinated, I would pass on that. Not worth the risk for me. I would do the same if it was an 80% positivity rate for ANY communicable illness.

My husband and I are vaccinated and boosted. My kids are too young for it (1 and 4). Honestly, we got Covid two weeks ago and it either came from daycare or from an uncle who had traveled to FL and back by plane the week prior (he was sick after the trip but we don’t know if my kids gave it to him or he gave it to them). I would still take the trip. Even in 2020 we got an AirBnb to stay in vs a hotel and went to the beach. My unvaccinated kiddos are healthy and fine, they just had fevers for a day and a lingering cough. I’ve been way sicker many times in my life. My husband got it the worst and had a fever for two days and a really bad cough. We aren’t afraid of it...it’s more the inconvenience of it.

We took our then 13 month old to Florida in February. We went to Disney. Both my husband and I had 3 doses. We did everything in our power to keep us safe. 
We felt the benefits of a vacation outweighed the risk but you have to do what you feel is best for your family. 
Luckily we didn't get covid & we had an awesome trip!
