Break up but still in love?

Did you ever have to end a relationship when you both still loved one another? And if yes, why?

Yes because my family hated him and his family hated me and we got to the point in which we couldn't stand the situation anymore, it wasn't easy to break up we took a whole year to separate completely and move on.

Yes because of religious differences, and as we got serious and discussed kids and family, we couldnt come to terms with a compromise after many discussions. The relationship was otherwise great.
Other guys I had to walk away from for mistreating me....lying, gaslighting etc even though I 'loved them' but in hindsight Im not sure that was actual love.

Yes because I was going to grad school 3 hours away and he didn't want to do long distance for the year and a half I'd be gone.

Yes he started to be jealous & I couldn’t tolerate it, we both truthfully loved each other but I blame the distance & that we both were young,it was a long distance relationship.

Yup. I loved him, he loved me. Was talking marriage and kids and I just didn't see that with him. Ever. I loved him, but I wasn't in love with him. 
Another case. I was in love with him and he was in love with me. We just weren't on the same page at the same time.
