I don’t know what to do!!😢

I met my boyfriend in January 2021. He had a son in his previous relationship at a young age. Either way, we got together, and we live together now. In the early stages of our relationship, he cheated on me with his child's mother and didn’t tell me. The child's mother told me in a bitter way. Either way, I’ve never been able to forgive him I just try to forget about it or avoid the topic at all cost.

I don't really like my boyfriend family as his mother used to invite me round and just talk shit about the child mother. I believe his family knew he was cheating as because when they found out they didn't seem surprised. His mother calls him every hour to check where he is so I guess when he was cheating she knew where he was. Either way I'm not close with his family I find them all two faced and fake.

Either way the child mother is trying to stop the child's father from seeing his child because me and him is together and she doesn't want her child around me.

I love my boyfriend but I just feel like we aren't in the best of places. I don't want him to not see his child because of me. He tells me the child mother needs to get over it and grow up. I feel like I constantly have to keep checking if his cheating and asking him. I don't believe him when he tells me no because when I had these thoughts because he played it out like I was the mad one. Even if he's not cheating.

At times I can see a future with him. Other times I just feel like I'm just filling in a space till him and the child mother gets back together. I do love him don't get me wrong but I can't see it all working out. I just feel like we are in it for the moment not for the long run.

Reasons why I can't see us for the long run is

- I totally don't like his family as I believe they knew he cheated and didn't say anything. The family can only speak Portuguese and everytime I'm around they speak there language and it just doesn't sit right with me.

- the child mother will always be apart of our relationship due to the child. He will forever be in contact with her.

I just don't know what to do
