What to put for primary ethnicity

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I’m registering my daughter for pre-k and it’s asking what her primary ethnicity is. She is half Korean and half caucasian. I’m not sure what to put, honestly if you looked at her you wouldn’t think she was half caucasian. I can only choose one so I’m not sure

I’m an adult half Asian and half Caucasian. I feel the forms have, honestly, come a long way. When I was younger, in a predominantly white community, this always confused teachers too when I had to fill in the bubble for standardized tests. I’m impressed nowadays when I can fill in “Two or more races” on documents. I’ve always loved owning my Asian side and there are benefits for adding to diversity anywhere you join…my children are 1/4 Asian and if there’s a bubble for that when it’s time for them to apply to college I will 😂😂😂
I always claim Asian if there’s not an option for more than 1 race…the beauty is there’s no right or wrong…they are equally both so whichever you want will be fine.

may be because I'm in Europe.. but our documents NEVER NEVER ask for ethnicity. They could ask for your nationality but I honestly do not see any reason to ask someone's ethnicity.

I have the same issue with forms, my son is half Caucasian/half Filipino and there’s never an option. Sometimes there’s a fill in option and I will put both but with preselected options I’m always confused. Following for any advice as well!

Race is physical features. Ethnicity is what culture you identify with.

I have never seen such a question on a form for anything?! This is kind of shocking to me…

You can either abstain from the question in totality or just choose one of the two ethnicities. The question is likley in exsisting for funding purposes.
