Finally Covid hit my home

On Monday we got an email from the pre-k that a kid in my daughter's classroom was positive. My kid has severe seasonal allergies and asthma, so every few weeks she gets episodes with cough and congestion. On Wednesday she was congested, just like every other time. I did at an home test and was negative. Thursday she started coughing, so I kept her home from school and took her for a PCR. It is 2am, she woke up, 101 fever. I tested her...positive.

Ugh. I feel so bad for her. I guess now to wait until we all get sick 😵‍💫.

I knew this day was coming. We have traveled the world this past 2 years and never got sick (on planes, Disney, etc).

F*** Covid!
