Lost & confused

So I had sonogram 2 weeks ago and took my beta, my HCG was 250 which was considered low for the amount of weeks I was (6 weeks). And they saw a sac but no baby. My original concern was the cyst I had and a possible ectopic.

Now fast forward to today my doctor calls me and tells me to go to the nearest emergency room asap get my beta drawn again and repeat sonogram because the hospital I went to reached out to him saying that I may be miscarrying or having and ectopic pregnancy.

Now I’m at the hospital been here all damn day. My hcg came back 48,000 and I’m waiting my sonogram. Does this sound better?

Has anyone experienced this? I’m panicking & alone. I’ve had other pregnancies but never experienced this.
