Mother’s Day gift for boyfriends mom..

So I am meeting my boyfriends mom for the first time tomorrow and I have no idea what she likes or doesn’t like other then she diets a lot, and she is not eating sugar.. (so all of my cooking is out the window, otherwise i would have made some kick ass food for her… ) and my boyfriend didn’t really do anything for her for Mother’s Day at all growing up… so I decided to get some flowers and a vase today..

This is a side angle of the flowers but how does it look? Is the yellow one too much? I’m also gonna have a card and I am gonna adjust the flowers as needed because I still am not quite happy with it.. we are gonna take her out for lunch as well… does it look okay? Is it a shitty gift? Am I overthinking this? Lol
