How many cycles on Clomid did it take 👶🏻

Been TTC for over a year. I just had an HSG done last Friday. Tubes were clear and blood work was good. Dr wrote me a script for Clomid for 3 cycles. If you conceived with Clomid how many cycles did it take? Did you have bad side effects?
