Sleep help!

So I have been cosleeping with my 10 month old baby because we didnt have a place for her to sleep in. We just put in a pack and play and are trying to transition her. We do not have space for a crib but hoped this will help until we move. She hates it. It is a mess. She has never been a good sleeper.. she will always wakes up about 4 to 5 times a night and wants to be on the boob. I dont even know where to start.. how do I get her to sleep through the night and stop wanting to get on the boob? Her doctor told me I shouldnt feed her at night but didnt tell me how to stop. She cries bloody murder if I dont nurse her. How do I get her to sleep in the pack and play and eventually in a crib? I feel like I have failed miserably!
