Anybody else late??

Question

So weird to experience the opposite end of the spectrum when my first came unexpectedly at 35 weeks and had a few weeks in the NICU. Now I’m 40+2 with no baby still! Failed sweep at 40 weeks.. another set for Monday and induction for next Wednesday at 41 weeks exactly. Really hoping that doesn’t have to happen! Anyone in a similar situation just waiting for babe to come?

My first was one day late. My second was 4 days late. My third came 8 days early. This one (my fourth) came at 41 weeks exactly. I had false labor for 3 weeks prior to finally going into labor. I was a 4.5 by 38 weeks. Sometimes the baby just wants to wait! I don’t know why! Haha. I had two membrane sweeps - one at 38 weeks and one at 40, but neither worked. I finally went into labor on my own overnight before I was scheduled to be induced. Hang in there.

Well my due date was yesterday 😒 no baby yet. I swore my water broke Saturday night and I had a few Braxton hicks contractions so I thought that was the beginning but then everything just stopped… I was totally dry all night and no contractions, even though it’s just a rough estimate I can’t help but feel disappointed, I just want her here!

40 weeks here. Due dates are estimates so I’m not bothered by still being pregnant. Baby will come when ready and hopefully by induction day!

I’m 40+2 today also, and having my third sweep on Monday. My midwife is also talking about inducing on Wednesday. I have been super crampy and had a bloody show today so I’m really hoping something is finally starting, but definitely bracing myself for disappointment.
