Anemia

I am just over 22 weeks and all my blood counts have been steadily dropping over the past few weeks. I have pretty bad anemia and I have been on iron pills and liquid but it hasn’t been helping. Already have a great diet as I am a health and nutrition counselor. Next week I will begin getting iv iron infusions at the hospital for a week. Have any of you had experience with the infusions? Any reactions? I am extremely nervous about it and just want to know what to expect/advice! Thank you so much!
