should i go to the hospital?

UPDATE: i went to get checked, i'm 2 cm dilated, 80% effaced and her head is at -2. contractions are roughly every 3 minutes now. they gave me the option to stay and be monitored for 2 hours or to go home and labor at home so i chose to labor at home and see where we progress 🤞🏻

ftm! 38 weeks 4 days. contractions have been coming for about 2 days but today they're getting closer together. started being roughly 10-15 mins apart all day, but now they're closer but not lasting 1 minute or longer. last time i was checked was last tuesday for my 37 week appointment; i was 2 cm and 50% effaced. my doctor said to trust my gut when i called about being 10 mins apart but i'm new to this. i'd hate to go to the hospital just to be sent home. thanks in advance!♥️
