Corpus luteum rupture

I'm 4w5d based on ovulation. I got a + hpt at 12dpo, at 17dpo my test lines suddenly stopped progressing and my beta levels were slow to progress. All the while I've had some cramps and some spotting. My doctor was concerned about ectopic and brought me in for a very early ultrasound only to find my Corpus luteum had ruptured. They saw nothing in my uterus or tubes (didn't expect to this early though). I do have fluid (likely blood) around my left ovary where the cyst ruptured..? So this means miscarriage right.? Without a Corpus luteum progesterone won't be produced to carry on the pregnancy..?
