Baby sprinkle?

My daughter is 3 and we had a baby shower for her. I want to celebrate this baby too and my friend has been mentioning if I’m doing a baby sprinkle but I’m not sure how it would look to throw one myself since no one has offered to host it. It’s more about the celebration of life after our family had a tough year but my family doesn’t usually do sprinkles. I’m stuck with whether or not to throw one for myself to celebrate our baby and also who to invite so that I don’t offend anyone. Help?

If no one will do it for you. Have like a burgers, baby, and BBQ thing so it's for baby still. I say do it.

Another option would be to have a Sip & See after the baby’s born… cocktails and get to meet the baby afterwards.

I suggest a BaByQ 🥰 bonus points if you have a pool or can rent a place with a pool. Doesn't have to be all out, just a little family/friend gathering to hangout and eat some good food. Maybe include a link to your Baby registry in their E-vite?

I’m in the same boat and was wondering the same thing! My girl is 2.5 and now expecting a boy. I’ve had a friend and SIL ask if I’m having a baby sprinkle, and that they think I should but haven’t had anyone offer to host. I don’t know I will probably end up skipping it just because I’d feel awkward trying to do it myself.
