Baby skin?

Hello moms! 
My baby has this patch on her forehead super rough/dry. She only had a little patch on her chest on her last doctors visit and the doctor said it’s probably eczema. She had this patch on her forehead for over a month! Some days it seems more irritated than others. I don’t use scent products on her which I read could irritate. The doctor said to just keep her clean and moisturized but it doesn’t seem to get any better. Advice/opinions/ suggestions. :/

I feel like that’s a long time for one patch to hang out on babes skin. They don’t recommend this long term because it can discolor babe’s skin over time… but when my son has a stubborn spot, we do over the counter hydrocortisone (1%) 3x a day for 5 days and that usually does the trick!

Eczema can be extremely stubborn at times. You have to keep a layer of moisturizer on it 24/7 for it to clear up also creams stop working so you have to have a line up of creams that work and rotate them every few weeks. For really stubborn spots on my son I use his eczema moisturizer and then a layer of aquaohor on top. But definitely if you've been keeping a layer of moisturizer on it at all times and it's not even improving I would definitely try the hydrocortisone.

My son had that at the same place and it even got infected. Hydrocortisone done the trick and it got resolved under 3 days. Because his was severe he got 3%. After that every time we were seeing a spot e we were proactive. He stopped getting that at 2yo.

Have you tried breastmilk or hydrocortisone cream? Coconut oil?

If it’s eczema and been there for over a month, I would talk to the pediatrician to prescribe an ointment to help it go away
