What should I expect???

I am 20dp5dt and will be having my first ultrasound on Thursday at 6w1d. Will I see heartbeat at 6w1d?

Possibly yes, possibly no, just depends on when implantation actually occured and how developed baby is. I had an ultrasound at 5+4 and couldn't see the heartbeat, but could at 6+4.

I saw one a couple days ago at 5w6d, but if you don’t it’s not 100% hope lost or anything. I wouldn’t worry about a lack of heartbeat until a week after that.

It depends. I have an Us tomorrow at 6+1. Last week at 5+1 I had my first US and the tech told me that at my next apt (tomorrow) we may or may not see a heartbeat depending. She said we could miss it by like a day or so. So yeah it could go either way.
