There is nothing worse then living with parents who are unhappy with each other! Don’t stay together just because you think you owe it to your kids!

It honestly depends on the reason things are failing. If it’s due to cheating, abuse (any kind), drugs, anything like that I would be 100% gone.
But if things are failing because we have grown apart, or the spark is gone, external factors that can be fixed. I would honestly try to work things out as best as I can. 
I’m a child of divorce, and my parents went through a few years of being extremely unhappy, but it was mainly due to external factors and lack of communication between them. While they are both remarried now, they both regret getting a divorce and breaking up the family. It’s heartbreaking seeing both of my parents in marriages where they are happy, but still wishing they were with each other. And realizing years later that it wasn’t that bad/could be worked through.

Not try to stick it out, but try to work it out. Depending on the problems obviously and not for the children but for myself. Therapy doesn't work for everyone and as long as there is a common goal there can be a way.

No. I come from parents who are married for 40+ years, but the years that I knew my parents were unhappy, I wish I didn’t learn those patterns of behaviors and them into my relationships. 
I’m happy they are still together, they’re super cute and old together, but there was a lot of healing my mom needed to do. But it definitely impacted me because they stayed together because of us. 
I’ve had to unlearn a lot of things and heal my childhood trauma because of my parents. 
Nothing is perfect. Parents aren’t perfect. Relationships aren’t perfect. We should try our best to model healthy patterns of behavior.

It depends. If there’s any type of abuse or infidelity then absolutely no chance of sticking it out.
