I had a period that lasted 3 weeks after having my copper iud for 9 months. Then I went to the OBGYN to have it checked and she had to remove it because it wasn’t in place anymore. My husband and I decided we’re going to start trying again for another baby so I will not be getting another one placed.. For the past week I’ve had lots and lots of cramping and spotting off and on also my cervix is super sensitive like I’ll be done bleeding but if it gets touched or poked I start spotting and cramping … is this normal or could something have got damaged with the iud .. we really want to get pregnant but we’re in no rush. Just wondering if this happened to anyone else? Also how long after TTC after iud did you get pregnant?
