Help!

So I have been getting my period every other week since the beginning of March. In February the pharmacy gave me the wrong birth control prescription and I didn’t think anything about it when I took it and then this started happening. I went to my family doctor about a month ago and she did a blood pregnancy test and some test for my thyroid. Both came back negative. She said to just wait it out and it should correct itself now that I’m back on my normal birth control. Well I’ve gotten my period three more times since that appointment and I’m ready to tear my uterus out. Has anyone had something like this before? Should I see a different doctor?
