UTI HELP PLEASE!

Hey guys,

Has anyone found that macrobid did not effectively treat their UTI? I was prescribed & took some but it's been over a week and it hasn't worked. I just went on goodrx and was prescribed a different antibiotic but at this point I'm wondering if its something other than a UTI. My symptoms are a frequent urge to urinate, pain in lower stomach/back, and general discomfort when urinating. Any thoughts? Or is macrobid just a crappy antibiotic?
