Pregnant at 7 weeks postpartum??

Question

I’m 7 weeks postpartum today from a stillbirth miscarriage at 16 weeks. I tested faint positive this morning. A couple days ago I had very light, pink blood when I wiped and thought it was the start of my period coming back but since then I’ve had nothing. We resumed sex 2 weeks ago at 5 weeks postpartum. Could this be residual from that pregnancy or a new one?

I'm so sorry for your loss and what you have gone through, my heart goes out to you. Its possible it could be left over hcg, give it another couple of days and test again if the line is darker I would say its a new pregnancy and to get booked in for a scan.

It could be leftover, the only way to know is test again in a couple days and see if gets darker or lighter

I believe this is a new pregnancy 😍 I kept testing after I gave birth because I was curious how long would it take for my hcg to drop and my tests were completely negative at 4 weeks pp. each woman is different but I do feel this is a new baby ❣️

I think k this is likely a new pregnancy. Test again in a few days to see if it is lighter ot darker.
