Wedding gift

My childhood bestie is getting married next week and I would like to get/do something for her. I am unable to attend because I have a high risk pregnancy and she lives too far away for me to travel there. I rescently got married and she gave me a beautiful card with a generous gift, along with some thoughtful books for the baby.

I really want to get/do/mak something for her but I don't know what. I feel like giving her cash is kind of weird since it feels like I am just giving her the money back. I do plan to sculpt her a bird ornament since she has told me how much she likes the ones I make, but I don't feel that is enough. I don't know if she has a registry since I didn't get a physical invitation, just a verbal one. If she did have one, I would consider getting something off of that. Does anyone have any ideas? She is a nurse if that helps.
