Clomid start

Hello all

Hubby and I have been ttc since March 2022.

I am able to ovulate and it seems things go great... until we get to fertilization, and then boom!!! Big disappointment.

So When my periods started, I made an obgyn appointment to see what's up.

Blood work came back good, but because hubby and I are over 40 (me, 41, him, 46) doc decided to have me try clomid and natural insemination this month. This is my first time on any fertility drug, I'm very excited.

The doc did say it might take up to 3 cycles to work and I might also need a higher dose, a trigger shot and possibly an IUI, but I told him for now we want to start with just the clomid (50mg).

I am also getting an HSG this upcoming Tuesday. I have been feeling a little bit down but now I feel a lot better. Even if it doesn't work this first go round, I am more positive than ever.

I just wanted to give anyone in my shoes the biggest hug! Let's do this!!
