How early is too early for crib?
My daughter is almost 4 weeks old and we have been having her nap in her crib for at least one nap a day (she did 2 hours today and I actually woke her) and last night was the first night in her crib - she seems to like it a lot better than her bassinet, still only getting a couple hour stretches out of her but I know that’s normal for her age. Is it too soon to have her in her crib? I know a lot of people say to have them in your room with you 6 months to a year but I know we can’t do that long - with my son we had him in his crib by 10 weeks and I was worried then that that was too early. I know they can’t have any type of routine at this age but I feel like I just need some type of a schedule even just a rough draft. We take turns sleeping in her room with her (on an air mattress) so even though she’s in her crib she’s not fully alone - I don’t know how long is acceptable for that either.
